The reading of Hojoki is superb - the poem/story is beautiful and he reader is first class. Unfortunately the Narrow Road story is read very poorly - the Japanese reader's English pronunciation is, at times, incomprehensible and the rhythm and timing makes the reading very difficult to follow. This is worth buying for Hojoki alone - but the Narrow Road is a major disappointment.
