ATMA Classique
Montreal-based ATMA Classique holds a unique position as
the international label from Canada. The label's international
presence goes beyond distribution in more than 20
countries to recordings made on both sides of the Atlantic,
and featuring international stars alongside some of the best
Canadian artists.
Celebrating its 15th year, ATMA Classique has built a catalogue
of more than 300 releases ranging from medieval to
contemporary music. The Label strives to capture “the most
natural possible acoustics suitable to the particular repertoire
for each recording. ATMA recordings have received many
prizes both at home and abroad, including three Juno Awards,
five Opus prizes, and Felix Awards for Classical Disc of the
Year in Canada, a number of Diapason d'Or and Choc (Monde
de la Musique) in France, and numerous 10/10 ratings from
ClassicsToday in the USA.
